Last year, HDFC Bank tweaked its lounge access policy, moving from a swipe-based to a spend-based voucher-based one. Here’s what to know if you’ve been using this card for lounge visits.
Old vs. New Lounge Access Policy
Previous Policy (Before June 2025)
- 8 free domestic lounge visits per year (2 per quarter).
- A swipe cost ₹2 as nominal fee.
- Access was easy, just swiping the card at participating lounges.
New Policy (As of June 2025)
- Spending milestones will now award you lounge access.
- You must spend ₹50,000 in a single calendar quarter to qualify.
- Once you reach the threshold you get 2 lounge passes per quarter (up to 8 in a year).
- No more swiping directly — now access is like a voucher.
- The voucher must be claimed within 120 days and redeemed within 180 days of voucher redemption.

As a cardholder myself, The Tata Neu Infinity HDFC Credit Card is ideal for anyone who finds himself or herself frequently spending at Tata brands. The Positive balance on the lounge access benefits with the revamp, but the rewards structure still make it attractive.
- Here are some tips for getting the most out of it:
- Keep an eye out for your spend each quarter to remain eligible for lounge vouchers.
- Enjoy rewards on day to day transactions With Tata Neu UPI ID and get maximum benefits.
